About

The Tez Filter, also known as the Dhar Man 777 Filter, is a keyboard TikTok filter which the user can type codes into to reveal explicit viral videos and images. For instance, typing "pls" into the Tez Filter showed the Sophie Rain Spiderman Video. If a user typed "tez" into the Tez Filter, it showed them a fake video of a naked Dhar Mann humping the air. In turn, the spam comment Type Tez Into the Tez Filter spread on the app. The Tez TikTok Filter surfaced in mid-2024 and was ultimately similar to other 777 Filters on TikTok that avoided the app's moderation and rules on nudity.

Origin

A filter called "Dhar Man 777" was created on TikTok[1] sometime in mid-2024. It was nicknamed the "Tez Filter" because if one typed "tez" into the displayed keyboard it'd reveal a fake video of naked Dhar Mann humping the air.

The first known video on the app to discuss the filter was posted by TikToker[2] @neon.part5 on July 30th, 2024, gaining over 1.6 million plays and 7,700 likes in six days (shown below).
