About
Electronic Entertainment Expo [1] (Commonly abbreviated to E3) is an annual trade exhibition that usually takes place in late-May or early June where video-game publishers and developers display new and upcoming games, consoles and other game-related media.
A major part of E3 is the press conferences held throughout E3 in which major game publishers such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, EA, Ubisoft and Konami hold conferences where new consoles are usually announced. The conferences usually last for around 2 hours and contain game demos being played live, announcements from companies and new game reveals.

E3 Sony 2006 / Giant Enemy Crab / $599 US Dollars / Ridge Racer

During Sony’s E3 2006 press conference during which Sony showed the PlayStation 3, Sony showed a live demo of the PS3 game, Genji: Days of Blade. During the demo, the player encountered an large enemy crab. During the fight with the crab the narrator of the demo said the infamous quote, "you attack its weak point for massive damage”.
During the same press conference, Sony announced the price for the PS3 at launch. The quote by
Executive Deputy President of Sony, Kazuo “Kaz” Hirai of “Five hundred and ninety nine U.S. dollars” has become infamous for being an extremely high price for a console. Hirai also spawned another phrase “Ridge Racer” (With the words usually being elongated) when talking about a Ridge Racer game at the press conference.
Mr. Caffeine / Doodly Doodly Doop

Mr. Caffeine is the stage name of Aaron Priceman, who hosted Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2011. During the presentation, his attempts at humor were generally met with uncomfortable silence from the audience, receiving negative reviews from most gaming publications and the internet community at large.
As part of Ubisoft’s 25th anniversary, the press conference featured videos of Ubisoft franchises such as Driver, Tom Clancy’s Future Solider, Just Dance and Assassin’s Creed remade in a retro style using cell shaded graphics. To transition between the conference and these videos, Priceman would make the sound effect “Doodly Doodly Doop” with his voice whist moving his hands left to right and crouching.
Reaction Guys / Gaijin 4Koma

Reaction Guys / Gaijin 4Koma are 2 images of 4 employees from the video-game website IGN, often used as a reaction image in 4 pane comics.
The first image taken during Nintendo’s 2003 E3 press conference in reaction to the announcement of Pacman vs. features the men looking uninterested. The second image taken during Nintendo’s 2004 E3 press conference features the same men looking excited due to the announcement of a new Legend of Zelda title which would eventually become The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
My Body Is Ready

My Body Is Ready is a catchphrase that is often associated with images where the subject is posed in a sexually inviting manner, or appears intimidating in some way.
During Nintendo’s 2007 E3 press conference where the Nintendo Wii Peripheral, the Wii Fit was formally named, Nintendo Executive, Reggie Fils-Aime prepared to demonstrate the Wii Fit with the phrase “My body is ready”.
WABAM! / The Bottom of An Avatar’s Shoe / Well BAM

WABAM! / The Bottom of An Avatar’s Shoe / Well BAM refers to an accidental glitch which occurred in Mircosoft’s 2009 E3 press conference. During this press conference, Microsoft announced their motion controller peripheral, Project Natal (Now known as Kinect). Kinect creative-director, Kudo Tsunoda was demostrating the Kinect when he said "You ever wonder what the bottom of an avatar’s shoe looks like? Wabam! There it is”. During him saying this, his on-screen avatar glitched so that his right arm went through his torso and his left arm and legs twisted into not humanly possible movements.
Translator San / He Just Doesn’t Give a F**k
Translator San / He Just Doesn’t Give a F**k refers to Japanese-English interpreter Takayuki Nushida who became the subject of an exploitable photoshop meme after translating at an E3 event using a pen and notepad.
During Sony’s 2009 E3 press conference, Kazunori Yamauchi appeared on stage to demo Gran Turismo for the PSP. He had Takayuki Nushida onstage with him to act as his translator, Nushida brought a pen and paper with him to help translate which resulted in him appearing looking uninterested with his head looking down to translate.
Remember Me? / MBD

Remember Me? / MBD (Mysterious Black Dude) refers to a character who appeared in a trailer for the newly announced Metroid: Other M at Nintendo’s 2009 E3 press conference. In the trailer, the character removed his visor accompanied by the line “Remember Me?” despite never having being introduced before.
