The humor was derived from the original tweet being an obvious statement that praised the sniper for its intended purpose. The intentional redundancy of the posts were akin to Anti-Memes.

On May 15th, 2025, X^[1] user @Red__JT tweeted, "Okay, a sniper rifle that shoots bullets may be one of the coolest things I have ever seen. #RedLagann." The post gathered over 14,000 likes in five days (shown below).

In a follow-up tweet,^[6] @Red__JT said they meant to type "arrows" instead of "bullets."
