Ahhh Yes Periods I Am Familiar Indeed or Shisho Is Pregnant is a redraw meme based on a Mob Psycho 101 fan drawing in which the character Reigen, nicknamed Shisho, claims to Tome that he no longer gets periods, resulting in her thinking, "Shisho is pregnant." The artwork was posted to X / Twitter by artist @Charcoyours in early June 2024 and became the subject of redraws over the following months, garnering viral spread to sites including Tumblr, Reddit and Instagram.

Origin

On June 7th, 2024, X^[1] user @Charcoyours posted a crop of a piece of Mob Psycho 101 fan art in which Tome thinks, "Shisho is pregnant," garnering over 3,300 likes in three months. Later that day, the same X^[2] user posted the full piece of art, depicting Reigen saying, "Ahhh yes periods… I am familiar indeed," Tome asking, "you get periods shisho?" and Reigen responding, "Yes but not anymore. Don't tell anyone by the way." The post gained over 59,000 likes and 5,000 reposts in three months.

Spread

The meme became the subject of redraws over the following months, which replaced the characters shown in the original. For example, on June 9th, 2024, X^[3] user @huyandere posted a redraw referencing One Piece, garnering over 5,500 likes in three months.

On June 14th, X^[4] user @MetaVevo posted a redraw featuring characters from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, garnering over 4,000 likes in three months. Also on July 14th, Instagram^[5] user habkart posted a version of the meme referencing My Hero Academia, garnering over 15,000 likes in two months.

On June 23rd, 2024, Tumblr^[6] user linterteatime posted a redraw based on Undertale in which Sans replaces Reigen, garnering over 9,600 notes in three months. It was reposted to the subreddit /r/Undertale^[7] on August 3rd, garnering over 8,900 upvotes in a month.
