On February 20th, 2026, TikToker^[1] @psl.andrej posted a meme that begins with footage of streamer JasonTheWeen under the caption, "JasonTheWeen peacefully fishing," followed by footage of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, portrayed as a "Chad," swimming in the ocean behind him under the caption, "Until the Atlantis guardians emerge to terramog him." The video gained over 727,000 views in about a week. Its description reads, "Always emerging from somewhere."

The footage of Aaron Taylor-Johnson swimming originates from a Giorgio Armani for Acqua perfume.^[2]

The Chad Emerging meme continued to spread on TikTok through February 2026, leading into March of that year.

On February 24th, TikToker^[3] @real_chang678 posted a version of the meme beginning with footage of streamers Lacy and JasonTheWeen, garnering over 179,000 views in six days.

Later that day, TikToker^[4] @p/rales posted a version of the meme starting with footage of a couple at a zoo and transitioning to footage of model David Gandy, ending with his PSL score, garnering over 261,000 views in six days.
