About

Greg Heffley Class Clown, also known as Can You Please Come to the Front of the Room?, meme refers to a series of video edits based on a scene from an animated Diary of a Wimpy Kid short film released in 2012, showcasing an interaction between Greg Heffley and his teacher, where Greg is telling jokes to become his class's next "class clown." The edits of this interaction tend to interchange Greg Heffley's banter with comedic effects.

Origin

In 2012, the animated short Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Class Clown, which was canonically set between the films Rodrick Rules and Dog Days, was released.[1] The film features animated scenes from the first five Diary books, condensing them into the short.
