On June 21st, 2024, YouTube^[2] user @HEATHERSWINFOREVER posted a fanmade Dress To Impress trailer, explaining the game's features and gameplay (shown below), which amassed roughly 41 views and 2 likes in two weeks.

The game was first noticed by the Brazilian community in November 2023, as the Brazilian YouTuber^[3] @SarinhaPlayGames posted one of the earliest viral mentions of Dress To Impress (seen below, left) which amassed more than 95,000 views and 3,900 likes in almost a year. The game continued to grow its audience going into 2024, as YouTuber^[4] @LexziBLOX posted a Shorts in which she tried to copy other players' outfits to win the competitions (seen below, right), which amassed roughly 3.8 million views and 146,000 likes in three months.
