About
Forever Weed Brownie is a series of webcomic redraw memes in which one character eats another character's "forever weed brownie" to stop them from getting high and has a bad trip. The original version of the comic is based on characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and was posted to X (Twitter) and Tumblr in December 2022 by @punkittdev, inspiring numerous redraws throughout 2023.
Origin
On December 31st, 2022, X[1] artist @punkittdev posted an original comic in which Fluttershy sees Pinkie Pie about to eat a weed brownie then eats it instead in an attempt to stop her from getting high. Fluttershy tells Pinkie Pie that it was a "forever weed brownie," to which she responds "the what" while suddenly being represented by a Fluttershy toy. Pinkie Pie explains how she's going to be high for a long time and that she invited her whole family over. The comic gained over 36,000 likes in a year (shown below). It was posted to the user's Tumblr[2] page that same day, garnering over 30,000 notes in the same span of time.
The X post explains the origin of the comic, with the user writing, "me and my bf were talking about fluttershy probably being terrible at smoking weed and that evolved into the idea of pinkie pie giving her the worst high in her life #mlp."

The comic became the subject of redraws and memes throughout 2023. One of the earliest known examples is a Wings of Fire animation posted by YouTuber[3] Kaliido_scope on January 4th, 2023, garnering over 30,000 views in 11 months (shown below).
On February 22nd, X[4] user @Mantiskull posted a redraw of the comic based on Street Fighter 6, garnering over 400 likes in 10 months (shown below, left). On October 13th, X[5] user @Wild_Wehttam posted an Amazing Digital Circus redraw that gained over 4,500 likes in two months (shown below, right).
On November 20th, X[6] user @kokopuff_kross posted an Adventure Time redraw of the comic that gained over 40,000 likes in a month (shown below).
